See a posting from Satisbata who may not be Satish Shroff himself but the following posting was in reaction.

CanchhaHajur

Very Happy From the 7th, I ought to be wearing daura sural and topi in the hills, a diktat is there, and all Tamangs too should do so, it is said, but I find no reason that I should do that, the Tamang dress is okay and if not other dresses we are wearing too are okay. a month's time to be wearing the dress is too long and trouble for all. The daura sural is 100 percent Gorkha dress and so is the Tamang dress of the Tamangs, the dress of the Lepchas, Yolmos, Sherpas, the 'Darros' of the Gurungs, Magars, Sunuwars and some Tamangs, so we all are indeed wearing Gorkha dresses and so it is unnecessary to wear the Gorkha dress Duara Sural . It should be voluntary and diktat is not acceptable. From when only Daura Sural became the dress of the Gorkhas, it is fundamentally wrong to see in that way and such views will create problems. 'Gorkha' is he who wears daura or follow certain customs that sort of view will do harm. So Tamangs should come out in shama, hangray, kragu, tagi, khenza and panai from the 7th. Jai Gorkha!
