Hats off to Prashant !! He made it. March past chai kina garnu pareko nee? Program Organizers ko idea hola. Anyway, he was cool and had a warm smile on his face. Partner lai 2 thapad mero bata!! Loads of attitude just because she has formal trainning.

However, its just the beginning. They should a little abt the next weeks episode and looks like they have patched up.. were singing together.

Chang was awesome and that Manipuri guy is good too. One more girl.. looks like North Eastern... she has also been selected. Best wishes to all four of them.

Lets keep our fingers crossed for our Prashant.The chinese guy is real good and that Assamese girl is very good since boys and girls from north east are very good in singing and instruments.Haven't seen the manipuri guy.

I very strongly agree with both statements. I too wondered why he was made to do the 'march' when the judge, Anu Malik, was not even 'left-righting' in tune with Prashant's marching. I wonder if this is another derogatory mindset of our Indian neighbours about "Gorkhas", just because they are richer and in a position of power over people like Prashant?

Whilst watching the video, I felt humiliated for the young lad. What did his police drill have anything to do with pop music? He seemed so innocent and eager to do anything to please the judges. Yes, I absolutely loved his warm and genuine smile, that alone gets 10/10 from me.

We mustn't take these small things too seriously. I heard that Prashant is from the police or army, that's why, they may have asked him to do the march past. We should instead focus on the bright side i.e. our bhai from the hills is on Indian Idol. Let's vote for him jaam ke

PS: I heard there is a Chinese guy too, who's pretty good. Anyway, I don't subscribe to cable here so hoping for the best.

His singing was good but as Udit said in his afthyaro khalko Nepali ma “Bhai ko gaana ramro chha. Alik diction ma dhyan dinu parchha ani ramro hunchha.” Bhai must have done that so he’s in the top 28 now. Lu bhai bal gara, hami vote garchhau.

I thought the Chinese guy sang the best. It was like Danny giving acting and Hindi diction lessons to “Indians” at the Pune Film Institute years ago!

Did Prashant reach the voting stage already? Anyway, I got to watch the Chinese guy Meiyang Chan perform and I really like him. BTW, he writes a blog at http://buddhasoliloques.blogspot.com/ and reading it briefly gives the impression that he's smart, funny and talented (he draws cartoons well).

Prashant has done it again He has been selected to the next phase of the duet round that is tomorrow ..Saturday..

Richa ho kee Picha has also been selected. Tara she was the one who nearly spoilt it.. Bitha ma plain song lai classical twist dincha... Anu asked her 'Kya wo gane may itna harkat tha?'.

Sadly the Manipuri guy is out.. but he tried his best.. Chan ko ta kura nagare pani huncha... I think he will be there for a long time..

Swaroop1951... yes Pradip Neupane was there. They used to announce his name Neupan.. Neupan... However I didn't realise he was nepali untill now. NEUPANE po bhane ko raicha..!! I didn't quite notice him in yesterday's show.. Maybe he is out... but he was there last week..

yeah....hats off to our gorkha boy...!!! its an immense pleasure to see one Nepali standing inbetween so many Indians..(touchwood..i totally agree on brotherhood) though at time they (THE INDIANS) make me go furious...i hope and truly wish Prashant Tamang becomes Indian Idol 3..

i totally agree with you that his marchpast was horrible...but jasto sukai bhayepani he was our brother/friend..so even his weird marchpast to me was like the BEST ever seen...

hie everyone ...we are from Australia.. we have been following indian idol since the day we came to know about Prashant from Darjeeling is in.. we watch all his videos .
we were so so so impressed and the video is so touching. i have become a great fan of Prashant..
the way he sings makes us all feel very innocent human being . he has some kinda magic in his face and voice so "naive".
we are strictly following him and praying for him...
we are actually from Kathmandu ...and have been spreading this talent of Prashant since we came to know about him in indian idol.
this is the only reason i actully registered in this website ,so that i can express my support to him.
