Raj Bhawan is the summer residence of the Governor of West Bengal. This beautiful mansion has immaculately manicured lawns, lush gardens, surrounding woods and colonial bungalows that overlook the Darjeeling Lebong stretch.
On a clear day, it commands a majestic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and the Himalayan range. However, visitors are not permitted inside the Raj Bhawan due to security concerns but a walk around its perimeter through the woods is an experience that is highly recommended.
